A 40-year-old woman has been crushed to death in a food processing machine at a factory that supplies McDonald’s in the US,Associated Press has reported.
The woman, who has not been named, was an employee at the Golden State Foods factory in the City of Industry, a suburb in eastern Los Angeles.
Police believe her death was accidental.
No further details were immediately available, authorities said.
Golden State Foods is a major supplier for McDonald’s restaurants in the US, with the company’s website claiming to have developed the sauce for the Big Mac in the 1960s
