Summary: Three female employees at a McDonalds Restaurant in Mt. Ephraim, NJ, were killed when a late model Cadillac Sedan DeVille crashed into the restaurant.

Camden County Prosecutor Lee A. Solomon and Mount Ephraim Police Chief Nicholas Salamone, Sr. reported that three female employees of the McDonalds Restaurant on the Black Horse Pike in Mt. Ephraim, NJ, were killed this morning when a late model Cadillac Sedan DeVille crashed into the restaurant. At approximately 4:20 A.M., Frank Nastasi, M/52 of Haddon Heights, NJ, was driving his vehicle on Prospect Ridge Blvd., when the vehicle crossed over the Black Horse Pike and crashed into the front windows of the restaurant. Investigators believe the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed.

The women who died were: Cindy Molina, 45, of Mount Ephraim; Joann Bowen, 52, of Mount Ephraim; and, Nancy King, 49, of Audubon. Nastasi was admitted to Cooper Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. Three other female employees survived the incident. Two of them were uninjured and one suffered minor injuries that were treated on the scene.

Autopsies were performed this afternoon by the Camden County Medical Examiner's Office, the results of which are not available at this time. Presently, the investigation into the crash is continuing and no charges have been filed.
