A San Francisco Police Department spokesman said Tuesday morning Vallejo police caught Demarco Braud, the man believed to be the shooter in the death of a 59-year-old woman who was killed during a Visitacion Valley street robbery on Nov. 5.

Dewayne Tully said Tuesday that Braud, who was wanted on a $10 million warrant, was arrested at a Vallejo McDonald’s fast-food restaurant at 8:05 a.m. Tully said Braud will be brought to San Francisco soon.

Dolores Hidalgo, a housekeeping inspector at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in San Francisco, died during a botched street robbery on the corner of Santos Street and Velasco Avenue at 5:50 p.m. Police said they found some money near her body and that Hidalgo had been shot in the back.

Two other adults are also being sought in connection with the fatal shooting of Hidalgo, while a 14-year-old girl is already in custody.
